Bostick Ready to Make Waves on Surf Suzuki in Charlotte

Chris Bostick, the pilot of the fan-favorite Surf Signature RV Resorts Suzuki, is excited to compete in the second race of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series Countdown to the Championship in Charlotte this weekend. The NHRA Carolina Nationals at iconic zMAX Dragway will feature the best of the best in the fastest-accelerating sport on the planet.

This is the second year Bostick has qualified for the Countdown to the Championship, NHRA’s version of the playoffs, and he’s looking forward to the intense competition in the Pro Stock Motorcycle category. Bostick qualified in the top half of the field last weekend in Reading, Pennsylvania, and he’s looking forward to taking that positive momentum to zMAX, located just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina.

“Last weekend, I managed to outqualify my White Alligator Racing teammate, Chase Van Sant, for the first time this season,” said Bostick. “Chase is an amazing rider, so that was a big deal for us. It shows that we are making moves in the right direction and that we have the right crew chief (Tim Kulungian) at the helm. Most importantly, I don’t know that I’ve ever seen such intense competition in the Pro Stock Motorcycle category. We are putting on a great show for the fans and it’s fun to be a part of it.”

Already having achieved two of his goals for the season – qualifying for the Countdown to the Championship and finishing the regular season in the Top Ten – Bostick is excited to take some big risks in the final five races this year as he works to elevate his points position.

Bostick and The Surf Signature RV Resorts Suzuki will take to the track for the NHRA Carolina Nationals starting with qualifying this Friday, September 20 with two sessions at 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. On Saturday, September 21, qualifying will continue with two sessions at 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Final eliminations are scheduled to begin at noon on Sunday, September 22.
