Australian Outback Plants has stepped up to sponsor the Lil Gangstas class at this year’s Street Car Super Nationals 21 Presented by FuelTech at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Nov. 20-23.

Gaining popularity at drag strips across the country, the Australian Outback Plants Lil Gangstas class Presented by Williams Motorsports, a 5.30 No-Time Index category, has already seen more than 20 racers sign up for its SCSN debut. Additionally, a second-chance race is being brought to you thanks to NorCalTrucks.com.

Australian Outback Plants, overseen by president Paul D. Chambers, can be found at Arizona Home Depot locations and at the Australian Outback Plantation in Tonopah,  Ariz., by mail order all over the US, and locally in the Las Vegas area at Star Nursery.

“I’m thrilled for Australian Outback Plants to support the Lil Gangstas class,” said Chambers, a native Australian. “Being the sponsor of such great racing, especially for its Street Car Super National debut, is very exciting!

“I’m going to be attending some events in Australia, but I’m changing some travel plans in order to be in Vegas for the race.”

Chambers is also shooting video of the event for the Petrified Motors documentary.

The payout for the Australian Outback Plants Lil Gangstas category Presented by Williams Motorsports is $7,000 for the main event and $,3000 for the second-chance race.

“LiL Gangstas will most likely be one of the biggest and most competitive classes of the race,” said SCSN Promoter Mel Roth. “I’m excited to see a lot of new-to-SCSN competitors as well as diehards compete for a big payday!”

SCSN-21 will be live streamed by Bangshift.com.
