THE WES BUCK SHOW – EPISODE 440

“POWER PLAYERS, SHAKE & BAKE & DRAG WEEK CHAOS”

NEEDLE MOVERS. PRO MOD RACERS. MICROPHONES. STREET CARS. AND ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE THIS THING STAYS ON THE RAILS.

This week on The Wes Buck Show, we’ve got a couple of certified shit-stirrers joining us together, plus we’re checking in from the middle of one of the wildest weeks in drag racing.

First up, Courtney Enders and Lyle Barnett are coming on TOGETHER.

Courtney is one of the voices of NHRA drag racing. Lyle races damn near anything somebody will hand him the keys to, most notably NHRA Pro Mod these days. And together, they’re part of the team behind the Shake and Bake Show.

So yeah…

WES, JT, MIKE, COURTNEY AND LYLE ALL ON MICROPHONES AT THE SAME TIME.

What could possibly go wrong?

Both Courtney and Lyle were also selected for the Drag Illustrated Power 100, recognizing the people moving the needle and shaping the sport of drag racing.

We’ll talk about what it takes to stay relevant in this sport, the work behind the scenes that nobody sees, building a brand, racing at the highest level, broadcasting it, talking about it, and somehow finding enough hours in the damn day to do all of it.

And knowing Courtney and Lyle, we’ll probably get wildly off topic somewhere along the way.

PERFECT.

Then we’re checking in with Michael Narx from the middle of HOT ROD Drag Week.

Michael is deep in the drag-and-drive world, and he’s following along this week as some of the baddest street cars in the country race, pack their shit up, hit the highway, fix whatever they broke, and do the whole damn thing again the next day.

We’ll get Michael’s report from the road, find out who’s hauling ass, who’s thrashing, what’s broken, what’s survived, and all the other insanity that makes Drag Week one of the coolest events in motorsports.

POWER 100. SHAKE AND BAKE. PRO MOD. DRAG WEEK.

Couple thousand horsepower.

And absolutely no adult supervision.

LET’S GOOOOOO!

Each week on The Wes Buck Show, Wes Buck, JT “Murder T” Hudson, and Mike Carpenter bring their unique insights and analysis to the most electrifying moments and storylines from across the drag racing world.
