Scott McFalls, the Wings Etc. Grill & Pub franchise proprietor for the Boiling Springs location, which is nestled north of Spartanburg above Interstate 85, is no stranger to SEGA drag racing. McFalls already serves as a brand partner on Ernie Smith’s Saturday Night Special four-door Chevy gasser. On the matter of expanded branding with SEGA, Scott stated, “They’re local! There are several drivers I know personally who came in and supported us before I even really knew who the Gassers were. I’ve always wanted to support local, especially people who are supporting me as well.”
The local touch is important to Mr. McFalls in his partnerships and certainly in his business. He believes that local flair is a distinct factor of his Wings ETC within the competitive wings eatery scene. “We try to make it feel as local as possible. When people come in, you feel like you’re hanging out with friends — not like you’re in a big corporate place”, is Scott’s examination on his local wing scarfing establishment.
