WILD SAVE AT $10K KING OF THE STREETS RACE

Admittedly, we’re a little late to the party with this clip, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t share it with all our loyal followers here at DragIllustrated.com because, well, it’s awesome. Apparently at the King of the Street event at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, Wisconsin, the rules state that while crossing the centerline in front of your opponent results in a DNQ, crossing the centerline BEHIND your opponent does not. Therefore, when the driver of the silver Mustang saw the front end of his opponent’s late model ‘Stang nose over, he navigated himself back into his lane and began savagely beating the throttle until he crossed the finish line FIRST and bagged $10,000.

Check out another wild save from the KOTS VII event after the jump.
