PDRA Adds Quarter-Max Top End Zone to Live Online Coverage

As the Professional Drag Racers Association (PDRA) prepares to put the exclamation point on its opening season Oct. 10-11, with the PDRA Championship Finals at Virginia Motorsports Park, Quarter-Max is joining the team of PDRA sponsors with an exciting addition to the PDRA live online feed. The Quarter-Max “Top End Zone” will feature top-end driver interviews after each round of the Championship Finals so fans can get the immediate reaction of drivers as event and season champions are crowned.

The live feed, produced by Motor Mania TV, has been a key feature of the PDRA season, a favorite among fans and racers alike. Rickie Jones, vice president of Quarter-Max, is looking forward to Quarter-Max’s involvement with the PDRA.

“When we can’t be at the PDRA events ourselves we love watching the live feed,” he said. “It’s just so cool to be able to watch the fastest doorslammers in the world go head to head live, from anywhere. My dad and (PDRA co-owner) Jason Scruggs were talking about doing this, that it would be a cool thing to interview the drivers after they get out of the cars and have a ‘Top End Zone’ feature on the live feed.

“We also thought it would be awesome to be more involved with the PDRA. So we decided to get on board with the video program and help create the Quarter-Max Top End Zone. It’s something we’re really looking forward to.

“We love the PDRA. Lot of great racers there; lot of great customers of ours. We appreciate their business. This is something we really believe in and we want to support this thing as much as possible,” Jones concluded.

“We’re excited to have Quarter-Max on board with the PDRA,” PDRA Race Director Bob Harris said. “The Top End Zone will be a great addition to the Live feed and a nice feature for our racers as well. Quarter-Max and RJ Race Cars always do a great job of supporting the racer and we look forward to growing our relationship with them.”

The live feed will kick off Friday, Oct. 10, with the beginning of the PDRA 2014 Championship Finals with continued coverage throughout the event. Fans can tune in via the link at www.pdra660.com or directly at www.motormaniatv.com. Catch all the action as the first-ever PDRA world champions are crowned.
