The IHRA Outlaw Pro Mod Nationals will take place this Friday and Saturday, August 8–9, at Darana Dragway – Milan (formerly Milan Dragway), offering a $125,000 winner’s purse and a 32-car field.
Drivers expected to compete include Frankie “Mad Man” Taylor, Kye Kelley, Ken Quartuccio, Robin Roberts, Wes Distefano, Kallee Mills, and Craig Sullivan.
“We’re really looking forward to bringing the Outlaw Pro Mod Nationals to Darana Dragway,” said IHRA Vice President Doug Foley. “There’s a lot of excitement around this event – the $125,000 payout and 32-car field have attracted some of the best in the country.”
Also featured on the weekend lineup is Mountain Motor Pro Stock, with $15,000 going to the winner and names like John Montecalvo and Dwayne Rice set to compete. Top Sportsman racers will run for $6,000-to-win.
A 64-car Top Bulb Bracket Shootout will run alongside the heads-up racing.
Opening ceremonies begin at 3:30 p.m. EST Friday and 3 p.m. EST Saturday, with a national anthem and parachute display scheduled both days. Fireworks will follow racing each night.
Tickets are available at IHRA.com and at the gate, priced at $40 per day. Children 12 and under are free. Livestream coverage will be available on IHRA.tv and Speed Sport 2 (Friday/Saturday at 2 p.m. EST) and Speed Sport 1 (Saturday at 6:30 p.m. EST).
