ROWE READY TO REVEAL NEW RIDE AT NHRA U.S. NATIONALS

Veteran driver and team owner Danny Rowe will be behind the wheel of his brand-new Agave Underground 2015 Chevrolet Corvette when the NHRA J&A Service Pro Mod Drag Racing Series takes to the quarter mile this weekend for the 61st annual Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway, near Indianapolis.

“Not only are we excited about the new car, but Mike Ivey and Fran Vincenzio and all the gang from Agave Underground are going to be here to share the experience and excitement of running the U.S. Nationals with us,” Rowe says. “We’ll also have Matt Riha here, who gave the new car an absolutely fantastic paint job. If it runs as good as it looks I know we’ve already got a winner.”

Championship-winning crew chief Jimmy Rector will be calling the shots on the new Tim McAmis Race Cars-built Corvette and Rowe promises they’re looking forward to going a few rounds on race day.

“It’s swing-for-the-fences time,” the California-based businessman says. “It’s time to pull out all the stops, go for broke, make it happen, however you want to put it, we’re ready to visit the winner’s circle again and there’s no better place to do that than Indy.”

Featuring the world’s fastest and most unique doorslammer race cars, the NHRA J&A Service Pro Mod Drag Racing Series offers something for every kind of hot-rodding enthusiast. The growing class is populated by historic muscle cars like ’67 Mustangs, ’68 Firebirds and ’69 Camaros, as well as a variety of late-model American muscle cars. With more than 3,000 horsepower, the suspended Pro Mod door cars travel the quarter mile in less than six seconds at speeds exceeding 250 mph.
