SPEEDTECH RESUMING OPERATIONS IN TUSCALOOSA

Speedtech_logo300Speedtech, a leading nitrous company in the drag racing industry for many years, will officially reopen this Wednesday, Mar. 13, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. All past customers, as well as new customers, are welcome back!

Speedtech is under new management with company co-founder Shannon “Iceman” Jenkins as its leader.  The company, as well as the facility in Tuscaloosa, has undergone major upgrades and renovations to improve operations and to better serve its customers.

“We are very excited to open Speedtech back up and provide customers with all the parts and components they need to compete successfully at an affordable cost,” Jenkins said.

Jenkins will not be the only familiar face involved with the “new” Speedtech.  Wayne Davis is back on board and will resume his position in the sales and technical department.  Will Smith, team manager for Awesome/Al-Anabi, will manage all marketing and advertising efforts, as well as assist with sales.

“Our main focus is for our products and our customer service to be second to none.  We offer technical support and tuning advice to anyone and everyone,” Jenkins said.  “What we race is what will be available to our customers.  We seek to find every performance edge we can to provide all our customers with, through continuous research and development.”

While focusing on re-establishing Speedtech as a household name, the company also has joined forces with Kenny Nowling and the American Drag Racing League (ADRL), as the presenting sponsor of the 2013 ADRL Series.

“We are very excited about the direction of the ADRL and feel that this partnership is a great opportunity for Speedtech,” Smith said. “This year will be a very exciting year for both Speedtech and the ADRL.  We strongly believe that this partnership is the perfect platform for Speedtech to once again dominate the nitrous market.”

Speedtech_displayThe Speedtech display trailer will be at all eight ADRL national events this season.  Customers who may be in need of products before an upcoming event have the option to place an order within two days of the ADRL event and Speedtech will deliver the products to the customer at the event.

Beginning Wednesday, Speedtech’s operating hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central (CST).  Call (205) 331-4972 for all product information, orders, technical support and other inquiries.

A new Speedtech website: www.speedtech-nitrous.com, will be coming soon. Until then, “Like” and follow Speedtech on Facebook at www.facebook.com/teamspeedtech for additional information.
