Sick Michigan Miles Presented By Driven Racing Oil will see over 200 of America’s toughest street-legal machines dragging and driving throughout the great state of Michigan across a week of competition and cruising from August 10 to 17.

Beginning at the freshly renovated host track, Milan Dragway, the fastest fleet in the land will visit Mid-Michigan Motorplex, Northern Michigan Dragway, and Ubly Dragway before returning to Milan via the Woodward Dream Cruise.

Racing will take place over an eighth-mile distance at each track and the quickest contenders are expected to be in the four-second zone. The battle for the overall honors will be hard-fought between teams from across the country. Among the favorites will be Back To The Streets winner Adam Hodson (Indiana), Rocky Mountain Race Week winner Tom McGilton (Missouri), former Sick Summer Pro Street champion Frank Webb (Tennessee), Malibu madman Evan Uerkwitz (Wisconsin) and Mustang record-setter Leticia Hughes (Kentucky).

Racers are required to hand in a time slip from each day, and the driver with the quickest average time across the five days will be crowned as the Sick Michigan Miles champion. Over 1000 miles of street driving will be require,d including checkpoint visits to some iconic Michigan locations such as the Silver Sand Dunes and Mackinac Bridge. Sick Michigan Miles will also take in the sights of the Woodward Dream Cruise, the world’s largest one-day automotive event.

Spectator tickets for Sick Michigan Miles Presented By Driven Racing Oil are now on sale, including week-long Sick Ward VIP passes. Fans can save $5 by pre-purchasing their tickets online. Kids 12 and under are free, making for a fun family day out at the race track.

The event is something of a homecoming for the Sick brand, launched by Tom Bailey out of Waterford, Michigan, in 2021. Starting as a magazine to cover the drag-and-drive scene, Sick has evolved into an automotive events, merchandise and media powerhouse.

Bailey, who will be racing himself at the event, said he was proud to bring a Sick event to Michigan and showcase the state.

“The racing is taken seriously, but a lot of people have entered Sick Michigan Miles purely to explore the region,” he said. “We’ll be driving through a lot of small towns, exploring the coasts, and showing people what Michigan is all about. The drag-and-drive experience goes well beyond just the track time and into creating lifelong memories for everyone at the event.”
