As of September 21, 2013, the North Carolina Drag Racing Hall of Fame will have a permanent home when it officially becomes part of the North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame in Mooresville.
The announcement comes from a joint agreement between directors Jim Turner and Don Miller, respectively.
The Sept. 21 merger ceremony will be open to the public and will include autograph sessions with past inductees and members of the executive committee. Several drag racing displays will also be on hand to complement the current displays in the NC Auto Racing Hall of Fame.
Festivities at the North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame (119 Knob Hill Rd. – Lakeside Park, Mooresville, NC 28117) will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, and will conclude at 1 p.m.
