GetInTheStands.com, a leader in promoting grass roots motorsports online, has offered its services to World Drag Racing Alliance (WDRA) member tracks with an exclusive discount. This partnership is designed to allow track owners and operators to get a taste of the power of event-specific digital marketing to engage new fans and sell more tickets.
WDRA member racetracks will receive an exclusive 50% discount on a single race date post as a trial to see how effective the GetInTheStands marketing strategy is. For just twenty-five dollars, a track’s race date will be posted to the GetInTheStands event calendar with a custom event graphic and receive social posting and geo-targeted boosting focusing on reaching drag racing fans within 50 miles of the track. Participating racetracks will also receive a ‘Digital Accountability Recap’ providing insight into the number of race fans reached, how many interacted with the post, where they were from, and how many clicked through to the track’s digital assets.
“I used the GITS process to claim the track I manage and found it to be easy and free,” said Gari Harper of Mid America Dragway. “I also used the site’s paid opportunity to promote an event, which worked very well. Customers showed up at our ticket booth and told me they saw the event promoted by Get In The Stands and decided to check it out. I am pleased to see a positive return on investment as the new tickets sold easily pay for the service.”
Scott Kosak, owner and founder of Get In The Stands prides himself on teaching his clients free and economical ways to reach audiences and increase ticket sales. He also supports the success of his tools by educating clients about understanding the metrics and results. He will also offer WDRA track owners and operators focused online social media training seminars at no charge.
“GetInTheStands.com is driven to help more race fans find more racing all across the country, with a specific focus on helping increase the visibility of the hundreds of true grassroots drag strips and ovals that dot the landscape of the United States,” said Kosak. “Given the WDRA’s similar focus on supporting grassroots drag racing, I’m looking forward to helping more fans find more great racing at WDRA tracks in 2025.”
Jon O’Neal with the WDRA explains, “This is a no-brainer for our WDRA facilities. Most marketing firms want massive investments to open a conversation with a potential client. Scott Kosak starts that conversation with a free opportunity to strengthen online search presence to every track owner he meets. The premise seems simple when Scott goes over the Facebook marketing strategy and Google Analytics, but it is definitely one step past what many track owners have time to accomplish. This offer will prove massively worthwhile to the small and medium-sized facilities of the WDRA that may not have the staff or time to invest personally to learn the ropes. Additionally, any race track, including those with huge spectator counts, will rarely see such an easy route to ticket sales, since Scott and his team do all of the work for you plus prove the results.”
WDRA track operators will receive information on engaging this offer in the 2025 track books, including the no-cost digital training seminar dates.
