Drag Illustrated is thrilled to announce the release of its highly anticipated 2024 30 Under 30 Issue, celebrating the brightest young talents shaping the future of drag racing. Marking the 10th anniversary of this list, the digital edition became available Tuesday night, spotlighting 30 standout individuals in the sport. Fans can look forward to the print edition debuting later this week at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show, where the 30 Under 30 Class of 2024 will be honored during a special press conference on Friday, Dec. 13.
“The 30 Under 30 Issue is one of our most significant annual projects,” said Nate Van Wagnen, editor-in-chief of Drag Illustrated. “What began as a way to celebrate drag racing’s rising stars and highlight the sport’s promising future has grown into a full-fledged movement. Ten years in, we’ve celebrated hundreds of young individuals who are making a positive impact on the sport. This year’s list covers numerous different classes and corners of the sport.”
The cover of the 30 Under 30 features three rising stars in the Professional Drag Racers Association’s (PDRA) Pro Street class. Newly crowned world champion Ethan Steding leads the charge, with fellow driver Scott Kincaid and tuner Ronnie Green Jr. joining him.
“A few years ago, we celebrated the youth movement happening in NHRA Pro Stock, and a similar movement is happening in PDRA Pro Street,” Van Wagnen said. “From drivers to tuners and crew members, this is a class where more than a dozen young people are showcasing their talents and putting in hard work and long hours. Rookie turned world champion Ethan Steding, the quiet heavy hitter Scott Kincaid, and the wise-beyond-his-years tuner Ronnie Green Jr. represent that movement. We’ve seen past honorees come from the Pro Street ranks, and you’ll see even more of those young men and women make the 30 Under 30 List in the future.”
Honorees will receive custom 30 Under 30 jackets, as well as gift certificates and other prizes from several program sponsors. Lincoln Electric will draw a winner who will receive a prize package featuring a TIG welder, welding kit, and welding class. This year’s program sponsors include Elite Motorsports, Empaco Equipment Corp., Team GESi Racing, Lincoln Electric, Moser Engineering, PEAK Performance, Pleasanton Ready Mix, Powerbuilt Tools, Race Winning Brands, Red Line Synthetic Oil, Sander Engineering, Stainless Steel Coatings, Stroud Safety, Strange Engineering, and VP Racing Fuels.

The 30 Under 30 honorees and their supporters are invited to take part in the 30 Under 30 press conference on Friday, Dec. 13 at 3 p.m. ET in Rooms ICC 231-233 on the second floor of the Indiana Convention Center. Group and individual photos of the 30 Under 30 class of 2024 will take place on stage after the press conference.
