Bishop Motorsports is proud to announce the addition of Jordan DaCosta as the newest driver to join the team. DaCosta, an 18-year-old drag racer based in Bradenton, Florida, has shown exceptional promise both on and off the track. With a growing career and an impressive track record, DaCosta’s passion, drive, and commitment align perfectly with the values of Bishop Motorsports.
In just two seasons of competitive racing, DaCosta has secured nine career round wins and one event victory while piloting his nitrous-powered LSS10. His on-track success speaks to his natural talent and the hard work he puts into his craft. Off the track, DaCosta has demonstrated a keen business sense, securing over 20 partnerships within the last year, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and determination to grow within the sport.
As part of the 2025 racing season, Jordan will compete part-time, piloting the team’s Bishop Motorsports Camaro in the highly competitive Super Street class. His debut race is scheduled for June at Brainerd International Raceway, where he will make his first official appearance with the team.
Chris Bishop, owner of Bishop Motorsports, expressed his excitement about the addition of Jordan to the team.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jordan DaCosta to Bishop Motorsports,” Bishop said. “His dedication and drive are exactly what we look for in a driver. His passion for racing and his commitment to growing the sport both on and off the track are what set him apart. We’re excited to be a part of his journey and look forward to watching his growth as a driver.”
DaCosta also shared his excitement for the opportunity.
“This is an incredible opportunity, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the support and vision Bishop Motorsports has for me,” DaCosta stated. “As a first-generation driver, it means the world to me to reach this point in my career. I’m incredibly optimistic about what the future holds, and I’m eager to show what I can do with such a great team by my side.”
Looking ahead to the 2026 season, DaCosta’s future with Bishop Motorsports will be determined by the right marketing partners, with the potential for a full-time ride depending on securing additional support. However, for the 2025 season, DaCosta will focus on competing in the Super Street class and continue to aim for success both on and off the track.
The entire Bishop Motorsports team is excited to welcome Jordan DaCosta and looks forward to an exciting season of growth, achievement and success together.
