ADRL Sold?

We’re hearing a press release announcing the sale of the American Drag Racing League could be coming as early as today.

By all reports it looks like former series president and cofounder Kenny Nowling will be back at the helm for the 2013 season.

UPDATE Nov. 22: No press release was forthcoming; however, Drag Illustrated received confirmation Nov. 21, directly from Nowling, who said he had indeed regained control of the ADRL name and future.

More details are expected over the next week, with an official announcement likely to come during the annual PRI trade show (Nov. 29-Dec. 1) at Orlando, Florida.
