Julie Nataas Returns to Randy Meyer Racing to Chase Fifth Straight JEGS Allstars Win

Randy Meyer Racing (RMR) is thrilled to announce the return of longtime team driver Julie Nataas for two major events this October. Nataas will reunite with RMR this weekend at the NHRA Lucas Oil Regional in St. Louis before heading to Texas Motorplex for the highly anticipated NHRA Texas FallNationals and the prestigious JEGS Allstars competition.

Nataas will be behind the wheel of the Hedinger’s Equipment dragster, while the team’s lineup will be completed by McKenna Bold in the Diezel Excavating dragster and Matt Cummings in the GUNK dragster, putting all three RMR cars on track together once again.

Nataas previously raced full-time with Randy Meyer Racing from 2017 through 2024, where she established herself as one of the most dominant drivers in Top Alcohol Dragster. She has collected multiple national and regional victories, as well as the 2023 National Championship, highlighted by four consecutive JEGS Allstars wins behind the wheel of an RMR dragster.

“I’m excited to return to Randy Meyer Racing and the crew that was my home for six years,” said Nataas. “The JEGS Allstars is a huge event for the sportsman racers, and the chance to go after a fifth straight win doesn’t come around often. Right after winning last year, I made sure to put myself back on Randy’s calendar for 2025. We’ll start at the St. Louis regional to test, or as Randy jokingly said, to make sure I still remember how to drive a dragster. I’m coming back with the same determination and focus that’s carried me to four straight wins, and I’m ready to fight for number five.”

This weekend’s St. Louis regional will serve as a warm-up for Nataas and the RMR team, giving them an opportunity to shake down the third dragster that has not been ran this year, before one of the biggest sportsman stages of the year. The JEGS Allstars, held in conjunction with the Texas NHRA FallNationals, brings together the best racers in the country to battle for prestige and bragging rights.

Team owner Randy Meyer expressed his excitement about having Nataas back in the seat: “Julie is part of our family, and it feels right to have her return for these two big races for us. We’re proud to give her the car and the crew to chase history with a fifth straight JEGS Allstars title.”

The NHRA Texas FallNationals and JEGS Allstars kick off October 9th at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, TX. Fans can follow along with live coverage on NHRA.tv and through Randy Meyer Racing’s social media channels.
