America’s fastest growing jerky brand, Cattleman’s Cut, is gearing up for a high-speed partnership in 2019. Cattleman’s Cut, the wildly popular jerky brand in the Oberto Snacks portfolio, will take the reins of primary sponsorship on the Jim Dunn Racing Funny Car for the 2019 National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Season. Starting at the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, Cattleman’s Cut signature branded wood grain graphics will be showcased on the Jim Dunn Racing Funny Car.

Jim Dunn Racing has been a leader in the sport of NHRA drag racing for more than 50 years. The team’s owner is none other than Hall of Fame crew chief, and former driver Jim Dunn. Jim Campbell, in his third season driving the Funny Car for Big Jim Dunn will be competing in the NHRA Mello Yello series.

Oberto Snacks is no stranger to motorsports having sponsored IndyCar, NASCAR, NHRA teams and most notably Hydroplanes dating back to the 1970s.

“Oberto Snacks has a long history in racing” said Tom Hernquist, President and CEO of Oberto Snacks. “And Cattleman’s Cut with the Jim Dunn Funny car is a perfect match. In 2019 with Cattleman’s Cut, we expect to grow our presence in the sport. Be on the lookout for a special Cattleman’s Cut representative at the tracks this season.”

Team Manager for Jim Dunn Racing, Jon Dunn, echoed Hernquist’s enthusiasm for the coming season.

“This is our fifth year in partnership with Oberto Snacks and we are excited for the opportunity to bring a fresh brand to NHRA drag racing this season and beyond.
