Race Ugly Apparel and Douthit Motorsports, also known as Jet Cars Rock, have formed a strategic partnership amid expansion that will see both brands combining their efforts at multiple events.
“I have a vision of where Jet Cars Rock is headed, and Race Ugly believes in that vision,” stated David Douthit, who co-owns Douthit Motorsports with his wife, Robyn.

In 2025, a Race Ugly vending trailer will be at all Douthit Motorsports events, where fans can buy Jet Cars Rock swag and merchandise. Race Ugly will be branded on all the Jet Cars Rock jet cars, and they will also assist us on the track with new crew uniforms.
“We are very excited about the opportunities that David and Robyn presented to us by joining Jet Cars Rock, but we are most excited about the shared goal for expansion,” said Amanda Ford from Race Ugly. “David has big dreams and goals, and we want to help him achieve those dreams and goals.”
Race Ugly is a family-owned and operated apparel brand owned by George Coley. Jeff Coley, George’s son, will be out in the motorcycle world in 2025. George’s daughter Amanda Ford owns Fattirez Apparel, which has been on the NHRA tour as well as the Funny Car Chaos tour. In July of 2023, Race Ugly and Fattirez joined forces on the trackside to make them a one-of-a-kind apparel team. In 2024, both brands traveled to multiple racing series at the appeal of multiple customer bases.
Douthit Motorsports, aka Jet Cars Rock on social media, is a four-car jet Funny Car team and a full-time RV family. Douthit Motor Sports began in California in 1976 with a wheelstanding ’68 Nova called “Smokey Red” and then switched to Jet Cars in 1985. Douthit Motor Sports was started by Smokey Joe and Carol Douthit. Today the legacy continues with their son David, his wife Robyn, and their daughters. However, you will see Smokey Joe and Carol Douthit at the track next year as they are still traveling, helping and working.
