RCD Engineering just recently released their new Blackout Battery Box, featuring 48-volt, sealed AGM batteries from Odyssey Batteries. The box comes with a flip-top lid for easy battery replacement. Built using black anodized and stainless hardware, the Blackout box checks off both boxes when it comes to looks and durability. Simplicity was also taken into consideration, as the box includes a new keyless battery plug for use with red, black and gray connectors, and it’s designed to work with RCD’s Leahy-designed 48-volt smart charger.
